It's been great to have been a part of ARCHICAD's evolution for the last 11 versions. The many technological advances have brought meaningful benefits to our profession. ARCHICAD 19 continues that evolution. Equal to ARCHICAD's technical strength is the strength of the ARCHICAD community.

GRAPHISOFT are continuing to provide great new features that assist our team to produce our deliverables quicker and easier. The Surface Painter enables our Interior Design team to interact with the model in an more intuitive way. The IFC translator updates streamlines our IFC Reference Model process enabling model collaboration to occur easier than ever before. Custom data export to BIMX will be welcomed by our contractors as they can obtain the necessary data from the model on their iPad without looking through drawings.

GRAPHISOFT has made some great improvements towards workability and efficiency in the new release of ARCHICAD 19. The incorporation of the window tab bar, docking palettes and simplified tool settings will all be crowd favorites, especially for newer ARCHICAD users. I have been using ARCHICAD for 8 years and as a “longtime" user, I am most enthusiastic about updates to the dimensioning tool, which will no doubt be a time saver!
